Here's what's happening: 2nd Western States Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Use Workshop Presented by Raven Ridge Resources and the EPA's Coalbed Methane Outreach Program, this practical and informative workshop will be held September 26-27, 2006 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Raven Ridge Resources, Inc and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency sponsored the First Western States Coal Mine Methane Recovery and Use Workshop on April 19 - 20, 2005, at the Two Rivers Convention Center, Grand Junction, CO. An Optional Field Trip to West Elk Mine, Somerset, CO followed this international gathering on April 21, 2005. Raven Ridge Resources helped sponsor the Third International Methane and Nitrous Oxide Mitigation Conference in Bejing, China from September 14-19, 2003. Participants from throughout the world shared experiences in developing innovative, project-oriented solutions to the problem of methane and related nitrous oxide emissions.

Our President, Ray Pilcher, chaired the Fourth Annual Coalbed and Coal Mine Methane Conference in Denver at the Marriott Denver Southeast on March 24-25, 2003. The theme of the conference, sponsored by the Strategic Research Institute in New York was: Increasing Revenue, Providing Resources and Improving the Environment." For more on the conference, please go to: 4th Annual Coalbed and Coal Mine Methane Conference. The Third International CBM/CMM Symposium in China was held in Beijing on November 13-14, 2002. The Symposium provided an outstanding opportunity for energy project developers, investors, and others to learn about specific coal mine methane project opportunities in China, and to explore the successes and challenge of this growing industry. Raven Ridge Resources president Ray Pilcher delivered a paper at this symposium. We'll be posting an article outlining his paper in this section soon! Watch for it!
